INÈS DE LA FRESSANGE has returned to her eponymous fashion label. The French model-cum-designer first founded the company in 1991, producing a selection of clothing and accessories.
Former owner François-Louis Vuitton recently sold the company for an undisclosed sum to Calao Finance and The Luxury Fund - a Dubai-based investment firm that also holds shares in Elie Saab. Fabrice Boe, formerly a senior advisor at Calao Finance - and responsible for leading the investment - will become president of the label, reports WWD. He also previously held senior positions at Hermès International and Lancôme.
In recent years, de la Fressange has acted as a brand ambassador for Roger Vivier and L'Oreal; has written a style guide, Parisian Chic; and been involved in the revival of Schiaparelli. The 55-year-old first found fame in the 1980s as a model for Chanel Couture and muse of Karl Lagerfeld.
