Amanda Bynes Tweets Again, Accuses NYPD Officer of Sexual Harassment

Just two days after Amanda Bynes was arrested for allegedly throwing a bong out of her 36th-floor New York apartment window and smoking pot in the lobby of her building, the troubled actress has taken to Twitter again to deny the charges – and make some accusations of her own against a police officer who arrested her.

"Don't believe the reports about me being arrested. It's all lies," she Tweeted Saturday afternoon

"I was sexually harassed by one of the cops the night before last which is who then arrested me. He lied and said I threw a bong out the window when I opened the window for fresh air. Hilarious. He slapped my vagina. Sexual harassment. Big deal. I then called the cops on him. He handcuffed me, which I resisted, quite unlike any of the reports stated."

Bynes extra-long Tweet didn't stop there. She provided even more detailed allegations about Thursday's events (which included a psychiatric evaluation) and her eventual court appearance Friday morning, in which she was attired in sweats and a frizzy wig covering her super-short hair.

"Then I was sent to a mental hospital. Offensive. I kept asking for my lawyer but they wouldn't let me. The cops were creepy. The cop sexually harassed me, they found no pot on me or bong outside my window. That's why the judge let me go. Don't believe any reports."

The New York Police Department is looking into her claim.

"It's being investigated by the internal affairs bureau," NYPD spokesman Det. Brian Sessa told PEOPLE.

In court, her lawyer, Andrew Friedman, said his client denies throwing a bong out of a window and claims the police illegally followed her into her apartment.

The former Nickelodeon star's latest Tweet comes one day after she took to Twitter several hours after her arraignment to briefly deny the charges against her. "I only smoke tobacco I don't drink or do drugs. I've never had a bong in my life! I need to get another nose job after seeing my mugshot!"

A resident in the New York apartment building where she was arrested told PEOPLE the star "sways and can barely stand up straight" and that a neighbor who has been inside her apartment saw that her bathtub was filled with boxes and other items, and that the unit is very messy and dirty.

"She just stares at people. Her eyes look really messed up," the source also said, and added. "When you see her, you're nervous to even be in the elevator with her."

Bynes is due back in court July 9.
