DONNA IDA wants to repay you for donating your unwanted jeans by giving you a £20 voucher to spend in one of the label's four stores. The initiative forms part of the brand's newly-launched Denim Drive - through which customers are encouraged to leave their old jeans at Donna Ida boutiques or online - all of which will be given to Newlife, a charity that recycles clothes to fund equipment for disabled children, and Jeans For Genes, which financially supports Genetic Disorders UK.
"Fashion is all about editing - pulling together your favourite pieces and replacing the old and that's what has inspired the Denim Drive," Ida told us. "By linking up with Jeans for Genes and Newlife Foundation, clearing out your closet is more than a spring clean - the donated jeans are recycled for a good cause."
The Denim Drive takes place between May 27 and June 21.
